6 Reasons to Include Social Content Creation in Your Business Strategy

Jude Quinlan

Perth brands and businesses this one’s for you!

Social media is well and truly a mainstay in any successful business strategy. But, it can be time consuming and distracting to have to consider capturing content amongst all the other things on your to-do list.

Here’s some of the key reasons it can be beneficial to hire someone to get the job done for you.

The power of good social media content

  1. Be prepared ahead of time: When you book someone like myself ahead of time to capture commercial photos or videos, you end up with an entire collection of content to pick and post when you need to. I can even work alongside you to consider any future events or important dates (e.g. International Women’s Day) so that you have specific, forward-thinking content for months and years to come.

  2. Maintain consistent branding: With one person behind the camera lens, you end up with content that is visually consistent. Colour grading and editing are all a part of the process (post capturing the content) that allows everything to look and feel on-brand. All you need to do is add a caption and hit post! Better still, hiring a photographer or videographer ensures the imagery or videos on your website match the content being posted to your socials. This way, everything looks cohesive without doubling up on content.

  1. Channel-specific content: Different social media platforms often require tailored content. This is to match the audience, the channel’s specific size or length specifications, and to boost engagement. Simply let me know what platforms you use (or want to start using), and I can prepare and deliver content that’s designed with these channels in mind.

  2. Balance trendiness with timelessness: As an avid user of social media myself, who also has a background as a marketing professional, I stay on top of what’s trending online and bring my own flair to it. Rather than replicating exact visuals or adding short-lived sounds, I’ll use my knowledge to create a series of social content that keeps you in the loop without going out of style as soon as it’s posted.

  3. Increase your audience: With a large volume of content to post at your leisure, you open the door to increase your brand or business to new clients or consumers. Different images and videos capture different attention spans. So, with a range of content at your fingertips, you’ll have ample opportunities to capture attention, start conversations, and create conversions online.

  4. Remain relevant: Having a large content bank also allows your brand or business accounts to post more consistently. Rather than having to repeat or reuse content, having a collection of images and videos specifically designed for social media means you won’t have to reuse anything that’s already front and centre on your website or signage.

My background and approach

While working as a photographer, I’ve worked in marketing agencies along the way. As a result, I’m always excited to produce digital content that captures attention online.

You might be in need of some new corporate headshots for your team, or some striking images of your latest product. In addition to professional commercial, corporate and branding photography and videography, I also produce social content from footage and imagery I capture on the day. This type of content has a fast turnaround time, so that your followers won’t be waiting long.
